The two-day forum brings together entrepreneurs, investors and creative industry leaders, with workshops, business discussions and AED 160,000 in startup competition prizes.
The fourth edition of the Al Quoz Creative Entrepreneurship Forum 2026 opens in Dubai on Friday, October 30, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, artists, designers and business leaders to explore growth opportunities across the cultural and creative industries.
Organised by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) in strategic partnership with Al Khayat Avenue, the two-day event takes place on October 30–31 at Area 57, Al Khayat Avenue, within the Al Quoz Creative Zone.
Held under the theme “Creative Frontiers – Expanding What’s Possible”, the forum focuses on transforming creative ideas into sustainable businesses and strengthening connections between emerging talent, investors and commercial opportunities.
Creative Entrepreneurship and Investment Opportunities in Dubai
The forum’s programme features panel discussions, entrepreneurial experiences and practical workshops examining the commercial potential of creativity.
Key topics include business development, brand building, access to financing, artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Sessions also explore how creative businesses can turn visibility on digital platforms into sustainable commercial value.
The programme highlights opportunities across design, media, gaming and other cultural industries, while encouraging collaboration between entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts.
The initiative reflects Dubai’s wider efforts to strengthen its creative economy, supporting the growth of businesses that combine cultural value with commercial potential.
Business Leaders and Artists Share Their Experiences
Among the featured speakers is Rania Masri El Khatib, CEO of The Giving Movement, who will discuss developing homegrown brands and expanding their presence in new markets.
Singer Faia Younan will share her experience of using crowdfunding to support artistic projects, highlighting alternative financing opportunities within the creative sector.
The forum also features UAE-based entrepreneurs, including Rashed Al Mulla, Founder and CEO of FRÍO; designer Amal Al Beiti, Founder of Tiny Toaster Design Studio; and Amal Al Marri, Co-Founder of Independent Food Company.
Their participation brings practical business perspectives to discussions about developing creative ideas into commercially viable ventures.
The programme further includes Creative Labs covering three main areas: business and branding, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, and creative ideation and communication.
These workshops focus on practical skills such as financial planning, brand identity development and presenting business concepts to potential investors.
AED 160,000 in Prizes for Creative Startups
A major component of the event is the Al Quoz Creative Entrepreneurship Competition, designed to support entrepreneurs and early-stage startups operating in the cultural and creative industries.
Shortlisted participants will present their projects to a judging panel comprising investors, industry experts and forum partners.
The competition offers AED 160,000 in total cash prizes, distributed as follows:
- First place: AED 80,000
- Second place: AED 50,000
- Third place: AED 30,000
Winners will also receive additional awards and support from the forum’s partners.
Beyond the financial prizes, the competition offers emerging businesses an opportunity to present their concepts, receive expert feedback and establish relationships that could support future growth.
Strengthening Dubai’s Creative Economy
The Al Quoz Creative Entrepreneurship Forum forms part of Dubai’s broader efforts to support cultural industries and promote entrepreneurship as a driver of economic diversification.
By bringing together creative talent, business expertise and investment networks, the event aims to help entrepreneurs build stronger business models and identify opportunities for expansion.
This focus reflects the development of design entrepreneurship in the UAE, where creativity, cultural identity and commercial experience increasingly intersect.
As Dubai continues to develop its business and investment ecosystem, the forum provides a platform for connecting emerging creative ventures with the expertise and partnerships needed to grow.
